Healthier Muesli - A Better Breakfast

Healthier Muesli - A Better Breakfast

You may not know this but most of the 'healthy' granola and muesli is not exactly that. They often contain a boatload of sugar and are not the great option that you think they are.

The big problem here that starting your day with a sugary meal means that you're much more likely to crave (and cave into eating) more sugar throughout the day. As you can imagine, this is far from ideal when trying to get leaner and lose weight. It is also very sub-optimal on the health front too.

So how do you make a muesli that is lower in sugar, keeps you fuller longer and that is better suited to weight loss? Take a look at our video...

The Importance Of Being 'Healthy'...

The Importance Of Being 'Healthy'...

If I have a major pet hate, it is the use of the word ‘healthy’.

“You should eat this cake, it’s gluten free so it’s REALLY healthy”

“I don’t know why I don’t lose weight, my diet is super healthy”

“These smoothies are full of fruit, they’re sooooo healthy”

The reason being that the term ‘healthy’ is subjective, therefore what means ‘healthy’ to you may mean something very different to me and so on.

Why Should You Hire a PT?

Why Should You Hire a PT?

First and foremost, I am going to be an advocate of this but where you may be surprised is that, in my eyes, you may not strictly need a personal trainer.

Snacks On The Go

If it were a perfect world, if you’re trying to lose weight, I would advise you not to snack (unless you’re really ramping up the training) but in the real world, it is not always possible to go without.

So if you’re running late for a meeting having missed lunch or on your way to the gym and need that boost, I have put together a few options for you.

Working out naturally breaks down our muscles. On the flip side, so does leading a stressful lifestyle or sedentary by sitting at a desk all day with very little movement. We’re all in need of a bit of TLC, more often than we think.
